Your next stockist is hiding in your zero-result searches
Every search on your locator that finds nothing is a shopper telling you where you need a shop.
When a shopper searches your store locator for a town and finds nothing, you lose a sale. But you also learn something valuable: there is demand in that place, and nobody is serving it.
Read the report
The Zero-result searches report lists the places people searched where no stockist was found within range. Sort it by count and the top of the list is your recruitment plan.
Look at the heatmap
The search heatmap shows where shoppers are searching from. Clusters with no pins nearby are gaps in your network.
Act on it
- Send the list to your sales team every month.
- Target retailers in those towns.
- Add a “Become a stockist” form so shops can come to you.
Close the loop
When a new stockist is approved, it appears on the map at once, and the next shopper searching that town finds it.
