About
We help shoppers find your products in real life
MapStockist started with a simple idea: the “Where to buy” page should be one of the most useful pages on a brand’s site, not an afterthought.
Why we built it
Brands that sell through other shops have a problem online stores don’t: the sale often happens somewhere else. A shopper who wants to see, touch or try a product needs to know where to go, and a slow map with stale hours doesn’t help them.
We looked at the store locators on the Shopify App Store and found the same gaps again and again: per-search map fees, hours that ignore time zones, imports that fail without saying why, and no way to turn the locator into a source of new retail partners.
So we built the locator we wanted: fast, accurate, good for SEO, and useful for growing a network.
What we believe
Our principles
Fast by default
Written in Rust on PostgreSQL with real geo indexes, so searches stay quick as your network grows.
No hidden costs
Maps are included with a generous monthly allowance, so there is no surprise bill from a map provider.
Privacy-respecting
We store only what the locator needs, verify every Shopify request, and delete shop data when you uninstall.
Good for SEO
Every location gets a real, server-rendered page on your own domain, not just a pin inside a script.
